
Andrew Pask is a recently appointed Professor at the University of Melbourne. He has published over 100 papers on developmental genetics particularly using eutherian-marsupial comparisons. Of note, his recent work involved sequencing the genome of the extinct thylacine and was the feature article in Nature Ecology and Evolution. He is dedicated to mentorship taking an active role in several early career research workshops, and currently supervises several post docs, PhD, Masters and honours students.
