My research in the Pask lab primarily focuses upon the role of oestrogen, testosterone and oestrogen mimicking endocrine disrupting chemicals on the process of urethra closure in males.
I have established a novel, high throughput in vitro culturing system where embryonic genital tubercles can be cultured and observed. Using this technique throughout my PhD, I aim to understand how endocrine disrupting chemicals are related to hypospadias and other disorders in penile development.
I previously completed a Masters of Science in the Pask lab and commenced my Phd in 2016.
