We have several active projects in our lab, including:

• Craniofacial development in mammals

• Genetic basis of convergent evolution between the extinct thylacine (Tasmanian tiger) and canids

• Reproduction and development of the fat-tailed dunnart. Establishment of a new laboratory marsupial model

• The genetic and molecular pathology of hypospadias – a defect in the position of the urethral opening of the penis

• Underlying physiology of gonadal developmental – mechanisms that control differentiation of the testes and ovaries

• The role of estrogen in sexual development

• The role of endocrine disruptors in development, and their contribution to disease
